This is super convenient! Today I’m introducing Kirkland Signature UltraClean laundry detergent capsules (152 count).

Costco Web Shopping price: $599.00 MXN (store price: I forgot).
What makes it convenient? Have you ever wondered what’s easier—powder or liquid detergent? Honestly, both can be a bit of a hassle.
This product comes as capsules (152 pieces), so there’s no measuring and your hands stay clean.

Important handling notes
The capsule feels soft and “squishy,” so if you squeeze too hard it might break.
Also, these capsules dissolve in water at any temperature. Avoid touching them with wet hands and don’t store them in humid places. The safest rule is: handle with dry hands.
And of course, keep them out of reach of children—kids may think they’re toys.

How many capsules to use?
For a small load, I use one capsule.
For larger loads (more than half the washer) or tough stains, I use two capsules.

After trying it
The detergent scent can feel a little strong at first, but after washing it doesn’t bother me. The lingering fragrance is mild.
The detergent itself is a deep navy color, but it doesn’t stain clothes. I washed colored items and used my washer’s “colors” setting—no noticeable color bleeding.
In terms of cleaning power, it’s not “shockingly stronger” than everything else I’ve used, but it definitely isn’t weak either.
Is it cost-effective?
Based on the web price, it’s about $3.9 per capsule.
Sometimes you see capsule detergents in supermarkets: 16 capsules for $85. Compared to that, this Costco pack is a strong value, and it lasts a long time—around 3 months for my household (2 people).
It’s heavy to carry detergent home, so having a big pack plus the “no measuring” convenience is perfect for me. If you handle it carefully, I think it’s a great product. Give it a try!
